Depth Level Sensor – Remote

Water Level Depth Sensor

The PR-7100 liquid level depth sensor (previously called the LevelPro 6100) accurately measures pressure in gas bubbler systems used for water level determination.

For process industry applications where instrumentation cannot be in contact with the liquid, the PR-7100 can be used remotely from the liquid being measured.

Featuring microprocessor-controlled, state-of-the-art electronics, the PR-7100 delivers excellent precision and stability and offers simultaneous analogue and digital outputs for direct, easy connection to most popular input devices including loggers, PLCs and RTUs.

Design and Build

The PR-7100 depth sensor is housed in a machined plastic enclosure and is sealed to IP67 and NEMA 6 standards. The multi-line LCD display allows easy configuration of the sensor and shows current readings.

Sensors are supplied with power, signal cables and a comprehensive user manual.

The sensor has digital and analogies outputs, and for storage tank applications the depth level sensor also displays volumetric calculations of liquid based on user-specified tank shapes and dimensions.

PR-7100 Operating Principal

The PR-7100 determines water level by measuring back pressure of a gas bubbler system. The key advantage of this technique of level measurement is that the electronics are remote from the fluid, ensuring long-term reliability, low risk and reliability. Unlike the PR-7200 bubbler system, the PR-7100 does not have an integrated bubbler, hence requires a separate source.

Australian Made

Greenspan has made our range of water quality sensors in Australia for over two decades. Our experience has allowed us to design sensors that reliably deliver accurate data in the harshest environments Australia has to offer.

With every Greenspan water quality sensor, you receive; local support from our experienced sales and service technicians, local repairs and recalibration from our Melbourne-based engineers, and access to local spares from our factory in Melbourne. No other brand of water quality sensor can offer such exceptional service.
